This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, modifications and refunds for bookings made through tokyobypass.com, operated by Tokyo By Pass Ltd.
2. Free Cancellation
Many of our experiences offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled date. The specific cancellation window is clearly displayed on each product page before you complete your booking.
- Free cancellation — Full refund if cancelled within the stated window
- Late cancellation — Cancellations made after the free cancellation deadline are non-refundable
- No-show — No refund is provided for unused tickets or no-shows
3. Non-Refundable Products
Some products are marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase. These include:
- Same-day or skip-the-line tickets with instant confirmation
- Rail passes and transport cards after activation
- Special event tickets and limited-availability experiences
- Products explicitly marked "non-refundable" on the product page
4. How to Request a Cancellation
- Log in to your account on tokyobypass.com
- Go to your Orders section
- Select the booking you wish to cancel
- Click "Request Cancellation" and follow the instructions

5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Bank processing times may vary; please allow up to 15 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
- Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction
6. Partial Refunds
If you booked multiple tickets and wish to cancel only some, partial refunds may be available depending on the product. Contact our support team for assistance.
7. Provider Cancellations
If an experience is cancelled by the provider (due to weather, maintenance, or other circumstances), you will receive a full refund automatically. We will notify you via email as soon as we are informed of the cancellation.
8. Modifications
Date changes and booking modifications are subject to availability and may not be possible for all products. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled date to request changes.
9. Disputes
If you believe a refund was incorrectly denied, you may file a dispute by contacting our support team. We will review your case within 5 business days and respond with a resolution.
